Our coordinators stay four years on average, which in this industry is unusual. It is not luck. It is what happens when people are taught properly and not run into the ground.

Small enough to notice you
Around 180 people across nine sites. Big enough for a proper route from coordinator to lead coordinator to site manager, small enough that whoever decides on your promotion has actually worked alongside you.
We are also deliberate about hiring people who did not come through the usual door. Roughly a third of our coordinators arrived from pharmacy counters, care work, phlebotomy and healthcare assistant jobs, through the apprenticeship route.

Clinical attachments
Two to eight week observational placements for medical students, international graduates and allied health professionals who want to see how a research site really runs.
Attachment programmeApprenticeships
A paid twelve-month programme ending in a permanent coordinator job. No previous research experience and no degree required. Milton Keynes and Birmingham, next intake in January.
Register interestSpecialty training for doctors
Our Milton Keynes site is an approved location for the Pharmaceutical Medicine Specialty Training programme. Trainees rotate through feasibility, protocol review, safety reporting and supervised investigator work, and finish on the specialist register.
